The
reasons why I chose wet market was because during my childhood, I have always
followd my mum to wet markets in Malaysia.
There was an auntie whom was a
fishmonger and she always chats with my mother.
She treats me very well too.
Often at time she would treat me with sweets and handmake cakes. Although it
was a simple act of kindness, it never fails to brighten my day.
From this
shooting I've have really enjoyed myself
and have fun together with the fishmongers at work and have ultimately learnt
more about them. Living through hardshop and gradually appreciating various the
small things around us. I got to shoot a multitude of various things and I
really like what I was tasked to do. Compared to the shoot at the bar, the
people at the wet market were really nice and friendly. They were very willing
to pose for me.
The
challenges that I have faced with were that i missed the timing that they
opened their stall because my house is too far away from being able to catch
the first train for me to get there in time.
