[WEEK13] Henry Hargreaves

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A short video introducing Henry Hargreaves.

Henry Hargreaves, a Brooklyn-based fashion and still life photographer.
Henry Hargreaves started off as a fashion photographer and turned into a still life, food photographer shortly after that.
His ways of shooting food are fun and playful which really surprised me and excite me with his works.

He is influenced by The Starn Twins work from an early age.
He likes the way they rearranged the photos by cutting them into pieces.
He then realise that what was in the picture didn't have to be the conclusion;
it could be what you want to do with it that makes it impressive.
Therefore,
here are all the awesome works that Henry Hargreaves shoots and creates.

For me, Henry Hargreaves is really successful for what he is trying to achieve.
I'm definitely impressed by his works and I always got a sense of engagement from his works.
It was fantastic and I enjoyed viewing every single of his photographs.

Moreover,
There is one series of photographs from his site with titled "No seconds" attracted me.
It is about the Last Meal tradition in Texas and Henry Hargreaves is shooting the food which the condemned criminals ordered as their last meal.
Through the common denominator of food, Henry Hargreaves is trying to represent their personality visually and identify with them.
I think it is something new for me and it is really an interesting idea.
